Our aim is to bring together independent practitioners and excise duty experts in areas such as alcohol, energy, and manufactured tobacco, from different countries - particularly at the European Union level.

We provide support and advice regarding the rules and practices relating to excise duties and indirect taxation.

We’re a think tank, a forum for the exchange of experiences and a force for proposals for any operator, business or organization, as well as national, European and international authorities.

Maintaining close and regular relations with national, European and international organisations, we’re a recognized center of expertise in indirect tax and customs related matters, including sugar tax, packaging taxes, alcopop and any environmental taxes, especially regarding sales of excisable goods within the European Union.
